Courageous in life, love and work. It’s all connected.

“Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage” ~ Anais Nin

Ever now and then I catch myself getting swept up in a wave of profound gratitude. During these moments I’ll take the time to name all the things I’m currently feeling so grateful for and instead of this just being an “intellectual” thing I feel every single one of them fully land in my body and in my being.

When these moments happen, I’m reminded that I’m exactly where I am because of the choices I’ve made.  And the more courageous the choices, the more profound the changes.

Here are 2 examples.

In March 2010 I decided to enrol into something I knew very little about but felt incredibly drawn to attend, and was very desperate to save my own sanity. This something was called Vipassana, a 10 day silent meditation retreat.

As a result of Vipassana, my body and my energy were re-calibrated. This made it incredibly easy for me to hear my truth over all the other voices and opinions in my head and in my life. Within 2 weeks I left a career that was stifling my growth, I ended my 5 year marriage and I gave myself permission to explore my love and curiosity for a woman (something I didn’t think was possible for me).

Then in May 2011 I decided to invest $2000 in an 8 week online program that taught how to leverage online marketing to make a big difference in the world. At that time, I was teaching yoga and had a strong desire to express myself beyond the confines of my yoga classes. I wasn’t sure what that looked like exactly but I knew I wanted my own platform in the world wide web. Plus, I was craving to meet other people who were heart-centered change agents AND ambitious soul leaders.

But if for some reason doing my own thing never worked out, I knew this training would give me the necessary skills and tools that would make me more employable. (These days, many of the amazing online businesses hire people who are B-School graduates or have their team complete the training.)

This online program was called B-School.

Over the past 3 years I have implemented elements of what I’ve learnt in Bschool, but in all honestly, I’ve only just scratched the surface of what’s possible.  Back then I was still discovering my “voice” and my “purpose”.

But not anymore. Launching LOVE SEX DESIRE changed all of that.

I’ll be going through B-School again this year as I’m feeling the pull to be even more courageous in my work and in my creative expression. If you too are feeling the pull to be more courageous in your work and creative expression, then I invite you to join me by checking out all that B-School has to offer.

At the moment, you can check out the free training video series and get to know the Founder, Marie Forleo and learn about her story. She will be next weeks special guest on the LSD Podcast Series as she shares her experience living her life purpose and how it impacted her romantic relationships for the best.

Anyway, go check out the first 2 videos in the free training series that are already live for your viewing pleasure. Click here.
