Celebrate your accomplishments so thoroughly as to burn the bridge to whom you were before.

This is extremely important, especially on a lifelong journey. You must stop from time to time to lay claim to the progress you have made and close off the option of retreating to a smaller version of yourself.

Your accomplishments may be new skills or abilities, or new horizons that you could not see before. It could be new relationships or new possibilities in existing relationships. By flaming them, you mark your progress. It helps to fight off the despair when the way before you seems endless.

In the name of honouring progress and burning the bridge to who I was before, it’s time to celebrate the year that was. I’ll be sharing with you my word for 2014, highlight moments, the people who have made it all possible, and what’s in store for 2015.

My word for 2014

WILD. 2014 kicked off with a hunger to be more bold, more daring and more free.  This looked like getting out from behind the scenes and screens so I could do more of what I truly wanted to do: leading/facilitating/teaching/speaking. And that I did!

I also wanted to deeply immerse myself in the realm of soul and sex. And that I did too! It just didn’t unfold the way I planned.

My deep immersion initially looked like attending 3 amazing retreats in Melbourne, Montana and Mexico with 3 powerhouse women whose work I adore. But when I hosted my very own Sacred Dance Party, I got the message loud and clear that there was nowhere else to be to learn about LOVE SEX DESIRE.

Instead I was to use all the wisdom I had already accumulated in my life and dive deeper through my own personal experiences. My life became one big experiment and I became the Master researcher.

2014 was definitely a WILD one.

Highlights

Birthing all things LOVE SEX DESIRE has been the biggest highlight for me in 2014. After fumbling around in the shadows for the past couple of years, I finally stood in my own spotlight. In doing so, I was able to find my people, my home and my world.

Here are a few specific LOVE SEX DESIRE highlight moments.

1. LSD Sacred Dance Parties.

5 Sacred Dance Parties.
220+ amazing women.
In 3 cities across Australia.

These events were ecstatic, transformative and soul igniting. Watching a sea of women unleash their souls through their bodies was a sight to behold. These Sacred Dance Parties lit a fire in my belly and my heart. They nourished me in ways I didn’t expect. And they gave me a boost of energy to stay true to my soul journey.

My advice: Your gifts, your skills, your desires…just fucking own it! And do whatever it takes to fully express them.

 

2. The LSD Podcast Series.

Downloaded in 78 countries, over 15k times…and growing!

I originally created the podcast series so I could share the conversations I was having about LOVE SEX DESIRE with people I love and whose work I adore. (A big thank you to all those special guests who contributed to the podcast series. Your stories were always like soul nourishment for me.)

But many of the podcast episodes were also of only me sharing the best of what I was personally living and learning. Apparently, the teacher in me wanted to speak more than she wanted to write and this platform made it super easy, and so much fun!

My advice: Be open and curious when you feel pulled to divert from your original plan. If holding on to the plan creates more struggle and tension then know it’s time to embrace the new.

 

3. The LSD branding and website.

Without a doubt, this was the biggest project for 2014. It was also the most fun I’ve ever had on such a big collaborative creative project!  Usually these things can be pretty stressful and frustrating for me, but not this one.

I felt divinely guided and incredibly supported every step of the way thanks to my beautiful designer and developer Stephanie. None of this would of been possible without her. She magically turned my visions into online temple that oozes everything I desired. Best experience ever!

My advice: when it comes to partnerships (of any kind), you don’t know how good it can be until you experience amazing! If you believe it’s possible, you won’t settle for anything else.

 

4. The Awakening Series

Guiding 150+ souls through their own LOVE SEX DESIRE awakenings was another highlight moment. It was a spontaneous online workshop I created to help celebrate my 30th birthday with my LSD community.

Over the following 4 weeks of the workshop, I was particularly impressed with the questions submitted by these courageous souls and I was surprised by how much fun I had answering them. I can’t wait to do it all over again in 2015!

My advice: Create space in your life beforehand so you can honour the spurts of obsessions or impulses when they arise.  

 

5. My first ever Intimate Evening

My desire to be in front of people and share my story continued to burn all year. I had done a few speaking gigs and live workshops with the Sacred Dance Parties but my soul was asking for something more intimate and more simple.

To close out 2014 I wanted to be surrounded by my LSD community in real time so I hosted a free Intimate Evening in a beautiful yoga studio. I sat perched up on a cozy chair surrounded by fairy lights while I shared some of the most intimate details of my past 12 months with 45+ beautiful souls.

The stillness and simplicity were two new elements infused with my live story telling, and I LOVED IT! LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT! So much so, I have another intimate evening happening on Saturday 17th January. Get your free ticket HERE!

My advice: Try something new often! And don’t put any pressure on yourself to be perfect the first time round. You’ll miss all the fun if you don’t.

 

6. Meeting an incredible man who has me feeling more woman than I’ve ever felt. 

Say no more.

My advice: There is beauty in taking your time getting to know someone. Stop rushing things that take time to grow.

Expressive – It’s about freedom, flow, creativity, beauty and truth.

Love – It’s about generosity, nourishment, presence, expansion, support and kindness.

 

THEMES

+ Partnerships. Now that I have a man in my life, there’s a burning desire to know what it really takes to create a thriving partnership. This desire is spilling over into my business too. The next phase of LOVE SEX DESIRE has expanded beyond my current support structure so its time to expand my team. Plus, I’m looking to contribute and/or collaborate more with others who are aligned with LOVE SEX DESIRE, such as Soul Sister Circle for Kinfolk Festival.

+ Service. For the past few years there has been a hunger to discover my soul purpose. Now that I have, my hunger has evolved to being of service to my soul and higher purpose. As a result, I have felt a significant shift of focus from me to my LSD community.

+ Love. In order to be of real service this year, I am feeling called to infuse more love in all that I do, especially when it comes to taking care of myself and those closest to me. After all, this is where love starts – right here under my own roof, in my own home and in my own backyard.

 

Projects

+ More live Workshops/Events/Retreats. I want to look you (my readers) in the eye, give you a big squeeze, speak from the heart, listen to your stories, answer your questions, shake my ass with you on the dance floor, sit in stillness together, guide you to places you’ve never been and see you transform before my eyes. Yep! I want more of that please.

+ More LSD Podcast episodes. I’ve got some incredible interviews coming your way. One of the ways we learn is through listening to others stories and that’s what I’m committed to sharing with you. Stories of others who are journeying through LOVE SEX DESIRE or have something to offer that will help you on your own personal journey.

One last thing…

With partnerships being a big theme for 2015, I want to take the time to publicly honour some of those who have supported me this past year. Writing this list was a humbling experience as I was reminded that it really takes a tribe to create anything amazing!  So in no particular order…

Diana, Mel and Megan – my magic trio. The combo of you three women in my life has been the best medicine. Your combined support truly brought out the best in me this year. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can’t wait to see what magic we continue to co-create.

Stephanie Blaszak – Working with you has been one of the best investments I ever made. Thank you for everything you’ve contributed to LSD and to my life this year. It’s even more special knowing you’ve been with me since the beginning when it all started with Selfish for 27 days. You are an angel!
