“Every phase of the relationship follows the transition of each phase of the children.” ~ Melissa Rowe
Today’s special guest is the mother of two teenage girls, has been married for thirteen years and is an accredited mental health worker who has spent her entire professional career working with families, especially mothers and children managing difficult transitions.
Her name is Melissa Rowe and you’ll find her living in the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia where she loves to grow her own food, cook for the ones she loves and support families to embark on a more mindful parenting journey through her therapy sessions, coaching, workshops, and camps…which I had the absolute pleasure of hosting a special Sacred Dance party for her 2016 Mama Camp.
In this episode you’ll learn:
- How to honour the different phases of relationships and marriage
- How to stay connected with your partner when life gets busy
- How Mel navigated the transition from maiden to motherhood
- How to help your children freely express themselves and navigate social media
- How to raise sexually empowered girls (hint: it starts with you!)
- How to truly connect and effectively communicate with your children
- What Mel does to stay juiced up
- What Mel is prioritising now that she’s in her forties
